Hearing Aid Accessory For Special Needs and Hearing Impaired Children and Adults
Ear Gear is designed to help keep their hearing aids FM's and Cochlear Processors secure, and cut down on hearing aid loss and damage. We designed Ear Gear for our daughter, Shameera (see our story) who like many special needs children, didn’t like wearing her hearing aids.

Special Needs Organizations
Products and equipment for special needs children can be very costly. Our daughter Shameera has multiple special needs. She wears glasses, hearing aids and she has other development delays. As parents, we would have been lost without the support from special needs organizations. When Shameera was first diagnosed with a Partial Trisomy 18, it was the Chromosome 18 Registry that guided us to have her hearing professionally assessed. We also received support from our local Child Development Society. Shameera was a participant in The Infant Development Program, The Supportive Childcare Program and she saw a Speech Therapist. Shameera continues to get support through our local school. Many of these programs exist solely due to the efforts of the families of special needs children and adults.

Our Commitment
Shameera will likely need support for her entire life as will many other special needs and deaf children. As parents, and as a company we would like to support organizations that do such fine work with special needs children. For this reason, we are offering non-profit societies two forms of support. First, any non profit society qualifies for a one time donation of 3 pairs of Ear Gear (click here for the ear gear donation form). Second, you can register your society with us and set up a link to our site. Any Ear Gear sold as a result of a click through from your site will lead to a $5.00 CDN donation being made to your society (click here for the Ear Gear Society Support Program registration). It is our hope that Ear Gear will benefit all special needs children and adults with hearing loss or are hearing impaired.
