Ear Gear - The Story Ear Gear, established in 2005, is a family run business. Ear Gear was developed because Shameera Rosal, Mark and Assunta's daughter, had been born with both a hearing loss and a chromosome abnormality. The developmental delays that resulted from Shameera's chromosome abnormality caused her to constantly misplace her valuable digital hearing instruments. (for more details read Our Story)
Mark Rosal Mark was born and raised in Toronto, moving to the Okanagan in the early 90's. He makes his home in Lake Country B.C. with his 3 children, and wife Assunta Rosal. Mark is also the owner/developer of Veggies, a unique brand of casual drawstring pants. When he is not busy being an entrepreneur as well as a devoted dad and husband, Mark is a songwriter, a Toronto Maple Leaf fan, and an avid biography reader.
Our Location Ear Gear is based in British Columbia Canada the beautiful Okanagan Valley, in a small town called Lake Country. Aptly named Lake Country it is situated between three lakes, and is a 4 seasons playground with skiing, fishing, and a thriving wine industry.
The Models Ear Gear is a water resistant double wall spandex nylon sleeve that protects hearing instruments from loss, rain, sweat, dust and dirt, and makes hearing instruments more comfortable to wear. Ear Gear not only can keeps hearing instruments safe and clean, but as it is available in lots of great colors, it can also make them look great by adding a touch of fashion flare to hearing instruments. Ear Gear is durable and it comes with a one year satisfaction warranty - this means that we will accept a return of any pair of Ear Gear, for a full refund, for any reason, up to 1 year from its purchase.
Ear Gear is available in 6 different models : The Ear Gear Micro fits hearing instruments up to 1 inches; Ear Gear Min Curved and Square fits smaller hearing instruments up to 1.25 inches; Ear Gear Original fits hearing instruments from 1.25 inches to 2 inches; Ear Gear FM accommodates hearing instruments from 2 - 3 inches and hearing instruments with an FM attachment and Ear Gear Cochlear fits many models of Cochlear Processors. All models of Ear Gear are available in both corded and cordless models.
